My name is Fallon Crosby, I am a daughter, a mother, a cousin, an Aunty and soon to be a Teacher! My father is Haida and my mother is Kwaguitl from Cape Mudge. I have learned some of the Haida language, I look forward to learning Kwakwala and incorporating that into my classroom as I plan to move to Campbell River when I’m done school. As a First Nations women, we follow our mothers and I grew up learning all about my father’s heritage. It istime I get in touch with my maternal heritage and identity.
