You need all the write ingredients: broad knowledge base, classroom management skills, know your students and their needs, know yourself. I have been going to school for a long time and have a lot to offer in the Indigenous Knowledge department. Students connect with me and appreciate me and my energy. I need to learn to balance the school life balance! I do not quite have the recipe right yet!
